The New X-Pando Steel Protector housing is made from the same gauge steel as our famous Super Shield. And these are galvanized so they never rust.

The New X-Pando Steel Protector housing also has the adjustable ratchet to make spring adjustment a snap.  

The X-Pando housing adjusts by simply sliding each end, in or out of the center section to the width you want and bolting the parts together. The adjustable sections make the X-Pando even stronger because the housing is double thickness where the pieces overlap. That is .210 inches thick, almost a quarter of an inch! This baby will shed rocks and keep on working. 

As a matter of fact, we guarantee it. If you damage this housing so badly that you bend the roller tube, we will give you a new roller tube free. This is the toughest housing on the market, we guarantee it! 

Now, why go to all the trouble to make it adjustable? 

Well, Number one, is the freight savings and, these days that is no small matter. Because
this housing adjusts down to 79 inches, the whole system and tarp can ship U.P.S. in one box.
The savings are huge. The weight is only 136 Lbs. without the tarp and 148 Lbs. complete with a 22’ mesh tarp.

Waterproof 14 oz. vinyl is great for general purpose applications. Our A-2 asphalt material is the best for high temperature applications such a hauling asphalt. Heavy duty 18 oz. vinyl truck tarp material is waterproof and available in black, red, green, blue and gray. All truck tarps are double lock stitched with reinforced corners for strength and durability.

Pulltarps® truck tarp systems keep getting better!

The new Pulltarps Universal Teardrop Pull Bar is the latest money-saving technology from the leading innovator in truck tarp and tarping systems. The Universal Teardrop Pull Bar has a groove for a hem tube that prevents the tarp from bunching at the corners. This unique design extends the life of the tarp, and saves you money. The hem tube groove strengthens the pull bar for added durability.

 Urethane bumpers that slide on to the Universal Teardrop Pull Bar are provided to keep the truck tarp centered and provide better coverage of the load. This new universal design can accept an arm truck tarp with a conventional pocket at the back or a truck tarp that uses a hem tube. This interchangeability makes it easy to convert existing Pulltarps® pull out type truck tarping systems to fully automatic electric arm systems. This extends truck tarp life and makes the tarp interchangeable with a manual Pulltarps® pull out type truck tarp system.
