Trombetta's Reversing Polarity (RP) DC Contactors provide a cost effective and simple solution for reversing polarity of permanent magnet DC motors on tarping/sheeting systems and many other industrial applications. Integrating two DC Contactors into a single housing unit, Trombetta has eliminated many costly materials and streamlined final product assembly and wire connection. Complete installation involves mounting a single contactor then making six easily accessible lead connections - done! Expensive messy and labor intense external jumpers are gone along with the heightened risk of lose connections and short circuits they create. The two integrated DC Contactors also provide the feature of dynamic braking for permanent magnet motors. The technology and operation of the RP DC Contactor can be customized and migrated to other types of motors and loads.
