The Pulltarps Core (Semi-Automatic) System is an economical, cut-to-fit system that fits the cab shield of most dump bodies and trailer beds. Built for lighter-use applications, it offers a universal fit, easy installation, and doesn’t need welding or fabrication. Open it by pulling the tarp out by hand with the pull rope and close by letting it retract on spring tension.

EZ-Fit Systems are adjust to fit / cut-to-fit solutions that can be bolted-on or welded into place. They are designed to fit trailers, work trucks, and large dump bodies. We offer EZ-Fit Systems in both Automatic (electric) and Semi-Automatic (spring-assisted) configurations. Tarps are not included and have to be ordered separately.

Every EZ-Fit system bolts on. There’s no cutting, welding, or shop time, so the system mounts to the bed you already have and is ready to cover loads the same day.
It’s designed so a single mechanic or a capable owner-operator can install it with hand tools. EZ-Fit comes with clear instructions, slide-and-secure housing, and electric or pull-rope operation you can set up yourself.
Pulltarps’ EZ-Fit systems are designed, machined, and assembled in the California. Completed systems and parts are ship same-day from California, so there’s no overseas backorder lag when you need a roller tube, spring kit, or motor.

No. If welding isn’t an option, every EZ-Fit X-Pando™ system can be bolted into place, using our bolt-on kit designed for DIY installation with hand tools, so there is no welding, cutting, or fabrication. The X-Pando™ housing is adjusted by the user to fit the width of your bed and then secured in place. The Core™ system uses diamond mounting plates that allow it to mount the cut-to-fit roller tube directly into the cab shield of most dump bodies. Both systems can be installed in one day.
Choose automatic if you cover loads often and want push-button operation from the cab. The X-Pando™ and Core™ Automatic Systems both include a 1.3 HP motor and 12V switch. Choose Semi-Automatic if you want a lower cost and no electrical install. The X-Pando™ Semi-Automatic Systems are spring-assisted and the Core™ Semi-Auto uses a pull rope with spring-tension to retract. The configurator recommends one based on how you work.
